Tejpreet Singh is a resident of Kothi No 68, Phase 3 BI, Mohali Town Near Chandigarh, He belongs to an illustrious Gur Sikh family, presently settled at Mohali in Punjab adjacent to Chandigarh. The family Shifted from New Delhi to Punjab in 1987. His father S. Amarjit Singh is an officer in Punjab and Sind Bank, Chandigarh.

Tejpreet Singh was born on 12th December, 1984 at New Delhi. At present, he is studying in tenth Class in Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, Chandigarh. He is very good in his studies and is maintaining good performance in his studies. He stood second in his Class in the Terminal Exams held in August, 2000. At present he is House Senior Vice- Captain of the school.

Besides studies, he takes active part in various extra Curriculur activities. He participated in All India level Scouts and Guides Camp and was presented Rashtarpati Award for Scouts and Guides at a function held TalKatora Stadium in New Delhi in 1999. He also takes Keen interest in sports his favourite sports being Cricket and WWF

Tejpreet Singh has a very pleasing and balanced personality. He is a helpful person by nature. We has been brought up in a religions at mosphere at home. Being a member of joint family, he has been greatly influenced by his parents, grand parents and uncles who are all devout Amrit Dhari Gur Sikhs. He can read and write Punjabi language very well. He has good Knowledge of Sikh history, philusophy and funda mental tenets of Sikh Faith. He is very much interested in visiting Historical religious Shrines and places which are a great source of inspiration. Not wonder that this Young boy got babtism (Amrit) in March, 1999 thus Celeberating the historical Occasion of Tricentenaly of Khalsa in a most be fitting manner. Since then,he has been following prescubet "REHAT MARYADA" (Sikh way of life) meticulously
