March 1.   15th Shahidi Jatha (Martyrs Batch) left Akal Takhat for Gang Sar Jaito Morcha in 1925.

March 2.   Guru Sahib left his mortal frame and immersed in Eternal light in 1644.

March 3.   Mahatma Gandhi arrived at Nankana Sahib in 1921 to express deep sympathy with the Sikhs and to make a first hand stuidy of the situations regarding the massacre of Sikhs there on 21st Feb, 1921.

March 4.   The Sikh forces supported Zabita Khan and faught valiantly with Abdul Kasim Khan in 1776.

March 5.   Khalsa College Amritsar, the premier educational institution of Sikhs was founded in 1892.

March 6.   Singh Sahib Bhai Ram Singh ji was coronated as Granthi of Darbar Sahib Amritsar at Akal Takhat Sahib Amritsar in 1987.

March 7.   Jathedar Sadhu Singh Bhaura, former Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib Amritsar expired in 1984.

March 8.   The Sikh forces attacked Lahore in 1757 and forces Taimur Khan to flee to Kabul.

March 9.   The Dal Khalsa forces attacked and captured Delhi and built Gurdwara Sis Ganj, Rakab Ganj and other Gurdwaras in Delhi in 1787.

March 10.   Jathedar Mohan Singh Nagoke was appointed as Jathedar of Akal Takhat Sahib in 1938.

March 11.   The Dal Khalsa force under the leadership of Jathedar Baghat Singh captured and entered Red Fort, Delhi in 1787. Khalsa Flag Nishan Sahib was also hosted on Red Fort Delhi on thid Day in 1787.

March 12.   Guru Gobind Singh Ji issued HUKUMNAMA for Machhivara Sangat in 1699.

March 13.   Saheed Sardar Udham Singh fulfilled his vow by gunning down Michael O' Dwyer at public meeting in Caxton Hall. England in 1940 thus avenging Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

March 14.   Jathedar Akali Phula Singh sacrificed his life in the Battle of Naushehra in 1823.

March 15.   Dal Khalsa forces defeated Marathas in a battle near Dhaulpur in 1766.

March 16.   The British annexed Punjab in 1849.

March 17.   Maharaja Ranjit Singh successfully entered Peshawar for the first time in 1823 after fighting many battles with Pathans.

March 18.   Jathedar Chanan Singh was elected as president of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandik Commitee, Amritsar in 1950.

March 19.   All India Sikh Students Federation was banned in 1984.

March 20.    The Sikh FOrces led by Jathedar Jassa Singh Ahluwalia freed hundereds of Hindu women captured by Mohd, Shah Abdali near Goindwal in 1761.

March 21.   With the support of Siikhs Shah Niwaz became subedar of Lahore and Diwan Kaura Mal his Minister in 1747.

March 22.   3rd Shahidi Jatha (Martyrs Batch) left Akal Takhat for Gangsar Jaito Morcha in 1924 in the leadership of Jathedar Santa Singh Sargodha.

March 23.   Shaheed S. Bhagat Singh , along with his associates, was hanged to death in central Jail, Lahore in 1931.

March 24.   A Jatha (batch of Volunteers) left Akal Takhat Amritsar Amritsar for Madras to protest against atrocities an low caste people in 1924.

March 25.   Bhai Randhir Singh Ji was hounered by Takhat Sri KeshGarh Sahib Anantpur in 1940.

March 26.   Birthday of Raja Amar Singh of Patiala(born 1774) who was a very popular ruler.

March 27.   Fourth Sahihada Jatha left Takhat Sri KeshGarh Sahib Anandpur for Gangsar Jatha Jaito Morcha in 1924 under the leadership of Sardar Puran Singh Bahowal.

March 28.   general House of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhik Commitee Amritsar passed a resolution for the formation of Punjab in 1965.

March 29.   The British Goverment deposed and exiled Maharaja Dalip Singh, the last Sikh ruler of Punjab after annexing Punjab in 1849. This was last day Sikh Raj.

March 30.   Guru Gobind Singh Ji inaugrated Khalsa at Keshgarh Sahib, Anandpur as vaisakhi Day of 1699 by administering Khande , Baate ki Pahul(Amrit) to five Beloved ones (Panj Pyaras) for the first time and there himself took Pahul from them and became Gobind Singh from Gobind Rai.

March 31.   Prakash Divas (Advent Day) of Guru Angad Devji(The second Guru) in 1504.
